Dear Folks,
I just wanted to touch base with you real quick. the work here in GA is
still moving forward and things are still looking up. We are continuing to
visit door to door in the neighborhood around the church I would guess we
are approaching 100 doors that have been knocked on, meanwhile the work on
the church building continues as well with rooms being emptied of trash,
scrubbed down and put back in order. The next major interior project is the
nursery which at present is not fit for man nor beast, the church is praying
about new carpet, it really needs to be replaced and we are going to paint
and spruce up we are also considering building a half wall to separate the
babies from the toddlers, pray this will all fall into place so that we are
ready when the young folks come our way. We are also beginning to plan and
pray about VBS here, it will be a good way to reach kids and then try to
reach their families.
Last night we ate at a Ryan's buffet a few miles down the road, when we
walked in, we noticed a large bulletin board that said Church of the week.
I enquired about this and found out that for one week (Monday - Sunday) you
can have the board decorated as you wish with information about your
church. your church name is on the sign outside by the road, you can put
what ever literature you want on the table by the door, the pastor and his
wife eat free all week, you get coupons for free meals for your Sunday
School teachers and to give away for your youth you can receive a discount
and a private dinning room for a group meal. and they will deliver Pizza,
cakes and cookies to a church function. All at no cost
I was shocked to find out that they were having a hard time getting churches
to participate and because of this Ayers Road with be the church of the week
on April 11-17. Please pray with us about this as it will be the most
exposure that the church has ever had. If you have a Ryan's near you, you
might want to inquire about the availability of this program in your area.
I also wanted to say thank you for your financial support, all of you have
been faithful and a number of you have sent extra which has really help us
out while we are here. We are grateful and we couldn't do it without you.

Dear Praying Friends,
Just a quick update from GA. Things continue to move ahead, slowly but surely.
We have had a new visitor and the work contnues to move forward.
We are looking into an apparent zoning issue with the trailer being parked at
the church. Please pray with us about this.
Yesterday we had a special service in the evening. I told the folks that sang to
be ready to sing and any of the men that wanted to preach to be ready to go. We
had several folks give testamony, 3 preachers and 6 specials. It was a good
time. I have attached some picutres, they are a little dark, sorry about that,
and for those of you on a dial up conection I apologize for boging you down.
I figure the easiest way to do it is to give you the picture descriptions
below:
Picture 1: Peggy Garrett (our piano player) Singing a special to start us off
Picture 2: Floyd McKeel, Pastor of Freedom Baptist in Kathleen, GA (One of our
supporters and a good friend) closed things out with a great message
Picture 3: Glenn Garrett sung and gave testamony
Picture 4:Lena singing "Saved to the uttermost"
Picture 5: Tim Clark Preaching a great message on the Word of God from Hebrews
4:12
Picture 6: Noel & Gretta Clark Singing a special
Picture 7:iseminger family singing
Picture 8: I know that I am biased but David II did a great job preaching on
"Why God Used David"
Thanks for the continued prayer, we will look forward to updating you again
soon.
