Dear Praying Friends,
Greetings from high in the mountains of SW Virginia. We have now been here
almost 3 weeks and are busy at the tasks at hand. Between trying to get the
church constituted and organized being ready to preach and teach Sunday school
and visiting at least three evenings a week there is not much time for other
things, especially when you consider we lose 1 day a week going to Wal-Mart to
buy groceries for the week.
There are a few pictures on our web site and we hope to have more up soon.
Things seem to be going well and progress is being made. There has been one
salvation decision and several new faces at church. Please keep us in prayer as
we press on. we will look forward to updating you next month on our progress.
One added note, we mentioned before that Ayers Road Baptist Church had called
Austin Tucker as pastor and he had accepted. He is making the trip to Macon for
the weekends until he can get moved, so there was one Sunday between us leaving
and him taking over the pulpit. things seem to be going well please continue to
keep all of them in your prayers.
