Dear Praying Friends,

Just a quick update from us as we prepare to transition from April into May. All is pretty well with the Iseminger's. We are presently in Zachary, LA for another few days and have been reunited with Emilee who was here visiting friends. April had us in meetings in Texas, Arkansas and Louisiana, we had good services and picked up some new support (from Trinity Baptist Temple in Fort Worth, Texas). God gave us safety on the road as well and we are grateful for your prayers. While in route to Bethel Baptist Church in Rockwall, TX the Highway was shut down by a major accident, they landed a helicopter on the highway to take the survivors to the hospital. While we were waiting for things to be cleared up so we could continue on our way I realized that we were only 8
cars behind the accident, only a few seconds separated us from the carnage that went on ahead of us. We are so grateful to those who pray for our safety.

At this point May has us scheduled in churches in Maryland, Pennsylvania and Maine. the furthest of which is about 2,000 miles from where we are now. Please pray for our continued safety as well as God's provision for us. Our future is still uncertain and I have adopted the mind set that until the right doors are opened and the next major project is clear, we will continue to stay in deputation mode and do our best to get our ministry in front of as many churches as we can in the time being.

Please pray that May will be a good month for us and God will continue to use us and keep us safe. On the family side of things, Lena is still preparing to head to college in a few months and is excited, David II has had several opportunities to preach along with me and continues to do a good job, Emilee had a great visit with Hannah and the Peterson family here in Zachary, LA. Carmen is still plugging along, her health is not the best but God is sustaining her.

Thanks again for your prayers and we look forward to updating you again soon.

Dear Praying Friends,

I trust this quick update finds all of you well.  As of this writing 4/5ths of the Iseminger clan are in East Texas with the remaining 5th (Emilee) being in Louisiana.  As we transitioned from Mississippi to Texas we met our friends the Petersons (whom we worked with in a church planting effort in Elkhart, IN that started 10 years ago this summer) who are living near Baton Rouge, LA.  Emilee and their daughter Hanna have not gotten to spend any time together in a number of years so she is with them for a little bit.  We talk daily and it sounds like everyone is having a grand time.

So far so good here in Texas, we are staying in the prophet's chamber at Victory Baptist in Longview, who are longtime friends and supporters, we will be going and coming from here all month.  Both David II and I have preached here at victory (Junior on Wednesday and me on Sunday) and we have updated the church and are trying to help them with a few things when we are not other places.

It doesn't really seem like two months since we packed up the house but that is how long it has been.  We certainly covet your prayers for the coming months.  I am unsure how to plan from May forward as we are still waiting for God to open the right doors.  At this point we are praying that God will show us exactly what to do concerning Ministry Opportunities and we would be grateful if you would pray with us for these decisions.

I am certainly glad that I can write and say all is well, meetings are good and we have no breakdowns or problems to report at this time, Praise the Lord!!!!!  We surely can attribute this to folks praying for us regularly, we are so grateful for those of you who hold us up in prayer on a regular basis.

As soon as I know what next month holds I will be sure to pass it on to you.
