Dear Praying Friends,
Sorry it has been a while since I updated you, things have been crazy busy and
it is one of those things I have been meaning to do but have not got to before
now.
We are presently in the middle of a two week run to MI. the trip up was not with
out issue and what should have taken 16 hours took 26. Last week our kids went
to our church's youth camp along with about 80 kids and had a great time. I
preached in several of the evening chapels and God did some great things. Sunday
we were in our home church, which is a rare but fun treat (I believe we have
been there 10 times or less in the last 3 1/2 years) Pastor Tharp preached in
the AM and he let me have at it in the PM, it was a good day and we were glad to
see everyone.
Monday morning I put a new alternator on the truck (Part of the reason why the
trip up took so long) and we headed from Charlotte, to Flint, MI where we are
presently involved in Vacation Bible School at Bible Baptist Church, they had 35
kids on the first night and looking for more. When we finish here on Friday
night we will head back to GA for Sunday so it will be a long trip, please pray
that it will be safe and uneventful.
When we get back we will work on getting out our August prayer letter, so look
for that soon.
