Dear Praying Friends,

I hope you all are well, sorry for being a few days late on the update, Carmen and I have spent more of the last two weeks on the road than we have home. In July we put Lena on a train to NYC and then Carmen and I jumped on a plane to Louisiana. The day after we got back from our trip, David II’s girlfriend and her family were here to visit for a week and we also had the church picnic at Needmore. The Monday after the picnic we were talking about having a low key week and catching up a bit when the phone rang telling us about a good family friend who was near death. We threw some clothes in a bag and were on the road racing to PA an hour later. Sadly he died a few hours before we got there. Many of you will remember all of the years we had a Snow Shoe, PA mailing address, this is because Bobbie Sinclair (Carmen’s second mother) lives in Snow Shoe and handled our mail for us. Two months ago her 39 year old son Jody (who Carmen grew up with) was diagnosed with a rare form of stomach cancer, and on August 1st he passed away. We spent the week there doing what we could to help and comfort and when the viewing and funeral was done we headed home. Please pray for our friends Bobbie and Joe Sinclair, they are having an incredibly difficult time and could certainly use all the prayer they can get.

As I write this we are in a hotel in Amhurst, OH and will be home later today. We will be home about a week and a half until we head back to PA for a revival meeting.

I am happy to report there are multiple things going on with our vehicle needs, as soon as everything is settled I will give you a full accounting of what God has done and is doing, but I can tell you this now, God continues to blow our minds, Praise the Lord!!

Last month brought some more visitors at Needmore and a good time with the SS Picnic and Old Fashioned Sunday we had 41 in the morning service and almost that many out at camp for the picnic, everyone had a great time.

We would also be grateful if you would pray for our support and supporters, we have a few that have been consistent for a long time that have become sporadic and I am having a tough time adjusting the budget to the change.

Lena is still in New Jersey but the rest of the kids are home, we will hook up with Lena when we head back east and we are looking forward to having everyone back together again.

I hope this makes sense and reads ok, it’s been a long two weeks, and I am pretty worn out. Please pray for us, our ministry and the work at Needmore in your prayers and I will update you again next month.

Because of Calvary,
David Iseminger
