January 30, 2004

As it is time for our regularly scheduled update, I wanted to touch base even though I recently sent out an extra update.

We are all moved into the trailer and are enjoying it greatly. with all of our stuff in place we still have a fair amount of closet and drawer space available (just one advantage of working with a company that was willing to work with us on a customized layout) The large hot water heater is a plus as well, we have yet to run out of hot water, praise the
Lord) The only place we lack room is in the refrigerator and Freezer, even with the extra large unit that we got we will still have to shop for groceries more often that we are used to and also need to buy half gallons of milk instead of full gallons but these are all things we can live with.

Last week I took our van for service and to have the tires rotated and found out that the previous Walmart that did our tires striped all of the lugs on one rear wheel and one of the studs on the other. after some talking, they agreed to cover the replacement but had to order the lugs from a dealer, so at this point we have temporary lugs on the wheels that were affected, this along with Carmen not feeling well prompted me to fly to Indiana for our meetings in 3 churches there. At this point (Friday Jan. 30) it has snowed every day and is below zero. Not my favorite weather but we are having a good meeting in spite of that. Pastor Stewart Bennett from Victory Baptist in Greencastle where we are in revival, picked me up at the airport, let me stay in a room they fixed up in the downstairs of the church and has loaned me his car for the duration of my stay. One of his men is taking me back to the airport next Thursday for the trip back to Atlanta, We are so grateful for all that pastor Bennett and his church has done.

Carmen made a trip to the Doctor yesterday and found out why she has not been feeling well, Bronchitis, ear infection, sinus infection and fluid on both ears. The Good folks at Grace Baptist in Warner Robins, GA took care of the Dr. visit and the prescriptions, for which we are very grateful.

There has been activity with both our monthly support and our truck fund, we will have a full accounting of this activity in our next prayer letter.

The February schedule on our web site is correct except for the fact that the Meeting scheduled at Cuba Baptist in January is now Feb 1. We have a couple of open Wednesdays and an open Sunday in February please pray that they fill in.

The February article will be up I would guess by the first part of the week to read it click here:

Please pray for us in the following areas: God's provision of a Truck, Power in the meetings and safety on the road, Carmen's health, our monthly support, our family.

March is prayer letter month so we will be bringing you a full account of what God is doing both through us and for us.
