Dear Praying Friends,
Just a quick note of update from the Iseminger family. I am writing this from a
hotel in Prospect Heights, IL (a NW suburb of Chicago) we arrived here yesterday
and today will be spent at Providence Baptist College and Northwest Bible
Baptist Church in Elgin where Lena will be attending college beginning August
24th.
The last 10 days or so have been a whirlwind with us leaving Maine on June 18th
with stops in New Hampshire & Vermont for a day, New Jersey Maryland,
Pennsylvania and Michigan for 2 days and now the Chicago area for 2 days. The
meetings have been good and the miles have been safe.
Praise the Lord.
We will be leaving here tomorrow for Linton Indiana. I will be preaching at
Bethel Baptist in Linton tomorrow night (they are perhaps our longest term
supporting church having been on board with us since 1997) and we will be
staying in their prophets chamber for a bit. Saturday is Emilee's 14th Birthday
and Sunday I will be at Grace Baptist Church in French Lick, IN A church that is
struggling and looking for help.
We praise the Lord for a few new supporters and the fact that God is slowly but
surely building our support base. I do have a few urgent prayer requests to
share with you:
Wisdom in decisions regarding Grace Baptist Church
Repairs on the van-I am leaking antifreeze, and a bit of oil. we are going to
have it fixed in Linton, please pray we make it down their safely, and that we
can get things fixed reasonably.
Our traveling situation-the van is now at 241,000 miles and growing we need to
do something soon and are praying that we will make the right decision, There
are some specific moves we are praying about and want to make sure we make the
right decision.
Thanks for praying, we will continue to keep you posted on all that God is
doing.

Dear Praying Friends,
Just a quick note to bring you all up to speed on what is going on with us and
the work.
Picking up on what I mentioned a few weeks ago. The visit to Providence Baptist
College went well and Lena is excited, registration starts August 24th. We did
make it to Linton and got our van in the shop Pastor Casell at Bethel Baptist
here in Linton was kind enough to loan us a vehicle for us to drive while our
van was in for repairs (6 Days) The van got a new radiator and an new oil
pressure sensor that was spewing oil. Bethel Baptist was also kind enough to
cover the repair bill
($300.00) also for which we are very grateful.
After preaching for them the last two Sundays we are going to be helping out at
grace Baptist Church in French Lick, IN the basic situation is that the church
is small (about 12 or so) but the building is new the debt is small and
manageable and the members are pretty well grounded.
Their biggest need is a pastor. We are going to put the feelers out and start
the pastor search right away and in the meantime we will step in and provide
them some leadership. Please pray about all of this with us, I would think that
this should be a relatively quick help but we will stick with them until the
pastor has been called and is in place. While their bills are current there is
not much extra money, We certainly need to locate them some Sunday School and
Junior church materials, if you have some or would be willing to help with this
need please get in touch with me.
We are going to be in Michigan August 5-13, going though our storage unit and
doing some work to get our trailer ready to be moved back into, we are still
praying about a truck but are making preparations to get the trailer back on the
road.
