Dear Praying Friends,
Greetings from Alamogordo NM. We are on the tail end of our New Mexico trip and
things have gone well. We have had good services, picked up some new support
(There will be detail on this in our July prayer letter) and made some new
friends. If you noticed from our schedule, we had a big open block of time, in
fact more time than we have had in years. We have used this time to work on our
VBS program, rest and see some sights.
God has done some amazing things to meet our needs during this time and while
things are incredibly tight it looks like we are going to survive.
Our June schedule is Full and we are looking for some good things. We covet your
prayers for the meetings and the travel. One particular
request: We finish in Belen, NM on June 11 and have to be in Rockwall, TX on the
12th to start on the 13th. There are almost 700 miles between the two places,
This was scheduled before we were pulling the trailer and it will be a tough
trip. Our plan is to head out of Belen after services on Friday night and
hopefully make it to Amarillo, TX sleep for a few hours and then Saturday head
from there down to the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex where Rockwall is.
Yesterday we visited in the services of Berean Ind. Baptist Church here in
Alamogordo and had a good time the pastor gave me a few minutes in the evening
services to give a testimony, the folks were friendly and the pastor asked us to
come for a meeting in 2005.
Again, we are grateful for your prayers for our family and our ministry.
Please pray specifically for some of the opposition that the devil has been
throwing our way. I am convinced that satan is not pleased that our trailer is
on the road, the support is coming in and we are seeing the reality of what we
have been praying about for so long. But through the prayers of you folks we
will make it through.
