Dear Praying Friends,

I generally try to get out our monthly updates right on the first but a few days have slipped by me here in March, I apologize for that. God has sustained us for a little over three weeks here at Ayers Road Baptist Church in Macon GA where we are presently working diligently to keep this church from closing.

The last 21 days have not been without trial and I am sure March will be no different. We just trust that God will continue to lead, provide and work things out. We are getting a lot of the work on the church building done, we have the office area cleaned up and functioning as it should. We have cleaned out two of the Sunday school rooms and have gone from everyone meeting in one class for Sunday School. We now have an adult class, a primary class and a teen class. We are in the middle of a overhaul on the kitchen and hope to redo the bathrooms this coming week.
For the first time in at least 6 months the church is regularly meeting for 3 services a week, attendance is up in all of the services, and we even had 22 this past Wednesday night.

We have had 8 first time visitors in the last couple of weeks, one a family of 4 that is getting plugged in and seems to be here to stay praise the Lord. Things seem to be moving ahead slowly and steadily, there is still much to do, but we are making progress.

Please keep praying, as the devil is sure not happy.

Supporters, thank you so much-this venture wouldn't be possible without you.

Dear Folks,

As you may have gathered from our previous e mail it was an interesting week. God really turned the tide and defused some situations for which we are so grateful. The general mood of the folks is to move forward and see what God can do.

The Wednesday night attendance was the best attended service in some time with 22 folks here, sad thing is many came looking for a church fight which never happened, the members met after church and got some things ironed out.

We got the kitchen cleaned from top to bottom and have painted it and replaced the faucet, we are now starting on the mens restroom which needs a lot of work, while we are working physically God is working Spiritually, we are having visitors and the services have been good.

Sunday the attendance was 13 in Sunday school, 18 in the AM service and 14 in the PM. We are now visiting several nights a week in addition to everything else. Please pray that all will continue to go well.

By the way you might have noticed that I have taken our schedule off of the website, I am trying to get it all ironed out, hope that I can soon and get it back up. I also understand that there is another message up on the mp3 page "What the Sodomites Have Done to America" Certainly not for the faint of heart or weak stomached. The Guy who maintains our web site told me in an e mail "It took me a long time to edit out all of the offensive content in that message, but I think I finally got it into a universally acceptable form" I am pretty sure he was kidding but if he was not what is up must be 45 minutes of dead air.

Thanks for the continued prayer and support

Dear Folks,

Just a quick report from GA. This past week was a good, solid productve week. our attendance was SS-12 AM-14 PM-13
Wed-16. All of these are up from last week and high's since the disgruntled folks left.

Sunday morning we had a family that had been coming Join. Near as I can tell it has been close to two years since someone has joined this church, the folks were excited which is a good thing.

Sunday Evening we had the Lord's supper which was a special time. That is one of the long list of things that has been neglected here and I wouldn't begin to know how long it has been but it had been to long. We also have one to Baptize so in the next week or so we will do that as well.

We are continuing to canvas the neighborhood around the church, one of the church folks is helping me tonight, which is a good thing as well. The cleaning and physical work continues as well

We are looking for a good day Sunday as I am sure you are as well.

Thanks for the continued prayer and support as well as the calls, notes & Emails of encouragement, they really mean a lot to us
