Dear Praying Friends,
Just a quick note to let you know that us Iseminger’s are alive and well in Michigan. We trust each of you are well and perhaps as ready for spring as we are.
On the family front things are pretty well, since the first of the year we have changed up some things with diet and supplements hoping to find Carmen some relief and we seem to be seeing some minor changes for the better, please pray with us that this trend will continue. I think I mentioned before that the verdict on my knee issues was osteoarthritis. It has been doing ok but this past week I made the mistake of trying to bowl while at a teen outing, which was a mistake. I have been walking 4 miles at a time three days a week, which I had to take some time off of with the knee but Lord willing tomorrow or Friday I will be back on track with that. The kids are all well and David II enjoyed his 18th birthday last week.
On the ministry side of things, we are continuing to see progress on all fronts. At Needmore we had 3 first time and a couple of repeat visitors last month. Last month was also missions emphasis month and we took up new faith promise commitments this past Sunday, it looks like the church is going to be able to add to their missions family in the near future which is exciting. We are also planning a Baby dedication and some other exciting things for the next few months.
Our support was down a little bit in February and I am hoping that we see a rebound in march. In April I will be traveling to Bible Baptist Church in Richfield OH to be with the people there on a Sunday. I preached a fall revival there about 12 years in a row and then as our ministry changed into the more long term work we are in now, this stopped being an annual event. I flew up for a meeting when we were in GA (2005 or 2006) and have been there maybe one Sunday since then. Pastor Davis asked if I would come in April because they have room in their missions budget to take us on for support, but the bulk of their present congregation has not met us, so some portion of our family will make the trek to Richfield and Lord willing we will have our first new support in a while, so we are grateful for that prospect.
Our home church in Ionia is still pastorless so if you would pray with us and them about their future we would be grateful.
Thanks again for your prayers and support, April is prayer letter month so we will have more information for you then.
Because of Calvary,
David Iseminger
