Dear Praying Friends,
On Thursday our engagement for November 16 in Louisville, KY cancelled. We were trying to figure out what to do while waiting for our meeting to start in Rio Hondo, TX on November 19. We were unable to locate a place to stay in TX so decided that after this Sunday in Greencastle, IN we would head back to GA. About an hour later, Emilee fell while she was playing and broke her wrist in two places. We spent the afternoon in the emergency room and were told she needed to see her dr. (in GA) next week.
We are reminded again that God knows what we need, often before we do. Emilee is hanging in ok and is in a cast to her armpit until right before Christmas. Carmen (Ever the practical one) is worried about what she will wear, since none of her long sleeve dresses will fit over her cast. I told her if worst came to worst we will just dress her in Denim skirts and big t shirts until she is out of her cast and hope no one has a problem with it in church services. Our pastor said if to let him know if anyone complained and he would straighten them out.
Please pray that we will have a safe trip back to GA and that Emilee will heal quickly and correctly and God will watch out for us the rest of the month.
