Dear Friends,
Just a quick note to let you know we are alive and well. Things here in GA
continue to progress slowly we have had over 20 in Sunday School and the AM
service 3 weeks in a row now, which is good, our Wednesday night discipleship
classes are going well but are not as well attended as we would like. I think I
will get my van, a ball bat and some rope and start forced discipleship
attendance, after all the Bible does tell us to compel them to come in. (That is
a joke for those of you with no sense of humor, laugh now)
A couple of other things to report on. There is someone who we are trying to get
help for with a drug problem, please pray for them, we are slated to take them
to the Roloff homes in Corpus Christi, TX next Thursday, please pray that they
will hold out that long, at the present it is not looking good. Please pray pray
pray
I will be out of town from September 10-15 preaching at First Baptist Church in
Perth Amboy, NJ please pray for the trip and the meeting as well as my family
while I am gone. I am flying into Newark, NJ on September 10th which I did not
think about till after I booked the trip I am sure security will be a joy.
The Link below is to a news story about our home church's 70th anniversary, what
a great testimony, I hope you will take a minute to read it.
