Dear Praying Friends,
Well here in Michigan the snow is melting and winter appears to be over. We certainly hope all is well with each of you, and as usual we have a lot to update you on.
The last several months we have had a lot going on medically so the family update section is heavy on medical information but there is certainly a lot going on that we need you to pray with us about.
Ministry Update
We continue to press forward with Needmore Independent Baptist Church in Charlotte, where we have been since November. In February we had a Valentine dinner at the church that was well attended and enjoyed by everyone who came. Recently we have seen first time visitors to the church as well as repeat visitors. About every time we go visiting we have positive response and people talking about visiting, please pray that we continue to see fruit and positive results as we visit in the community. It looks like there should be a teen Sunday school class starting soon and as soon as spring sets in we have a number of cleanup and organization projects around the church we are planning on tackling.
The big thing on the horizon here is in mid July. One of our supporting churches, Grace Baptist Church in Zachary, LA is bringing a load of people up for a week to knock doors and help out. They are anticipating bringing 20-25 people and being here from a Monday to a Monday in mid July. Please begin to pray with us now that God will use this time to be a help to the church and accomplish great things.
Of course, in the time in which we live church problems are common place, and while we are not dealing with any issues at Needmore (praise the Lord) every week I spend time on the phone, text and email with various struggling churches trying to help with various situations. Presently we are semi involved with 3 churches looking for pastors and a couple of others dealing with problems. Please pray for wisdom as we try to help these churches through their issues.
Family Update
All is pretty well with the family. Lena is home from college for the time being as we pray about what comes next for her and exactly what God wants. She is continuing in Piano, helping out with the visitation and other things around the church and trying to find a way to make some money. She is also getting ready to get her learners permit and start driving. Pray for not just us but everyone on the roads in the greater Lansing area.
David II had some nasal surgery in February (right after he turned 17) to help with some long running breathing and sinus problems. While he is still in the recovery stage, it looks like the operation did what it was supposed to do and he will see some change for the positive as the swelling goes down. We are hoping to find him a guitar teacher in the near future and he is also looking for a way to make some money.
In addition to piano, Emilee is also learning to play the organ and is playing specials and offertories in church in a regular rotation. School for her and her brother is going well also. It also appears that she may be done growing (at 5’9” and change).
I mentioned in the last letter that we were waiting to get Carmen in to the Doctor’s. This has finally happened and we have more appointments and tests on the calendar. The doctor seems to be good and is addressing the problems in order of severity. She continues to be able to barely get around and she is very frustrated by the continued steady decline. Her whole situation brings with it several important prayer requests. Those are in the prayer request section, please take note and pray with us about these things.

As far as me, I am doing pretty well. I got some new bifocals and have had some dental issues taken care of as well. I have also been working on my weight and am seeing some success in this area as well.
Please keep all of the family in your prayers as we continue to serve the Lord in the ministry he has given us.
Support Update
There is really not much new to report here, other than to say that everyone has remained faithful, praise the Lord. I am hearing reports of Missionaries having problems in the support realm, tied to the economy and church problems. I certainly understand the reality of this and am glad that we can say that at this point we are not seeing this, praise the Lord.
Of course with the nature of our work it makes deputation difficult if not impossible. We have seen God add to our support in the past when we have been involved in a long term project and have been asking God to work a miracle in this area because as usual our support is not where it needs to be.
In our last letter, I made mention of and thanked several folks who help us behind the scenes to keep this work moving forward. This letter I would like to mention another one.
For quite a while now, Luke & Stacy Potter have been handling the printing and mailing of our prayer letter. It happened sort of by accident, we were on the road with a computer but no printer and needed to get a prayer letter out. I asked Luke if he could print a letter for me and send it to me so I could mail it. His response was, “send me your mailing list and we will just do it and send it out, in fact we will continue to do that for you if you want.” What has to be 6 or 7 years later, they are still at it. It is quite the family project as they format print fold stuff stamp and mail for us 4 times a year. They cover all of the costs involved as well. As you can imagine this is a huge help for us. When we are in the area we have helped out a few times, but for the most part it is all them and we are grateful. Just another piece in the puzzle that is this ministry.
Prayer Request Update
As you pray for us, and we are so grateful that you do. Please remember some specific needs in the following areas:
Our Transportation needs. Our van is still rolling, with 262,000 and change and our 5th wheel is still truckless. We have done a little work to the van as finances have allowed and are planning more when the weather breaks. We are praying for God’s will, God’s time and God’s provision in this area.
Our Children’s Education: Lena: Guidance for the future. She scored all A’s and B’s in her semester at providence, but it was not a good fit for her. We are praying and ask that you pray also for wisdom concerning her future. David II and Emilee: Both are doing well with their classes this year, please pray that they continue.

Carmen's health issues. As I mentioned in the family update, the doctoring has begun. Financially this course of action has the potential to get out of hand rather quickly. These are things that must be done no mater what the cost. We are weighing our options and praying for wisdom and provision and ask that you do the same. At this point it looks like she will need to see several specialists (Cardiologist and Neurologist) and have several expensive tests done. Please pray that God will give us wisdom, give us answers and meet the many needs in this area.
Pray for Churches. As I have already mentioned we are talking to several pastorless churches as well as some folks dealing with some very serious internal church problems. Please pray for these and other churches and our country.
Support. As always, we are in need of support. Please pray God continues to provide daily for our needs and also long term with the support we need.
We continue to be grateful for each of you and for your part in all that we do. Please continue to pray and we will update you again soon.
Because of Calvary, The Iseminger Family David & Carmen Lena, David II and Emilee Romans 10:13-15
