Dear Praying Friends & Supporters, It is hard to believe, but it is time for our last prayer letter of 2003. What a year it has been. By years end we will have been in 60 churches.
We are so grateful for your prayers on our behalf. Please know that God is moving, good things are happening and we are so very grateful for your participation in our ministry.
I would imagine that by the time you read this we will be in meetings in Michigan and preparing to head south for the end of the year (none to soon, judging from the weather).
As usual we have much to report on, so here goes:
News From the Road
Praise the Lord for safe travel, good meetings and God’s provision. September and October were good months. In September I was able to preach a Sunday at Emmanuel Baptist in Claysburg, where I was baptized shortly after my salvation 10 1/2 years ago and preached for the first time just about 10 years ago. Pastor Lingenfelter is doing a good job there, and they have been able to add a full time youth pastor. Both services on Sunday were great.
In October we spent a week at Beacon Baptist in Millville, DE the time was good for both us and them, I was able to take part in the installation service for the new pastor, preach for 3 other nights and visit about every day. Brother Dexter is still getting settled in but the church is growing already and the people are excited. The church provided us with a great place to stay near the beach, I enjoyed walking on the board walk several mornings, the kids got to play some and a man in the church who is a photographer took some great pictures for us. Dylan and I also went to play paintball with Pastor Dexter, one of his deacons and his son. What a great stress reliever!
All of the other stops were good as well but space does not allow me to write about all of them.

Family Update
The kids are all doing well and are getting much done in the new school year. Emilee is doing better with her blood sugar and I think we finally have a handle on what she needs to avoid. She is so hypersensitive to certain things that we are having to travel with food in case we are served something that she can’t eat. Everyone we have been with has been understanding of the situation. We have been praying that we won’t offend anyone by serving her a different meal but we have to do what is best for her. Dylan loved his paintball trip and can’t wait to do it again some day. Lena continues to grow up quick and is turning into quite the young lady.
Carmen has had a rough autumn, we had a hard time getting her last batch of medicine from Mexico, so she had to go quite a bit with out it. The season change always effects her and this year seems to be even worse. Hopefully being able to head for warmer weather soon, will help her feel better.
I am doing fine, I survived my 36th birthday, thanks to everyone for the cards and gifts, I was able to get a couple of new suits, which I needed seriously. As always we are grateful for your prayers, for our family

Funny But So Very True
While at a church in NY in Oct. they ran this cartoon in their bulletin. This is one of the things that I have mentioned from time to time that we need to remember.
\ IMPORTANT INFORMATON AND PRAYER REQUEST
This is the latest information about our trailer fund and monthly support. We have heard about another $50.00 in monthly support from Grace Baptist Church in Warner Robins, GA. We also have added support from Lighthouse Baptist Church in Plymouth, IN. We have also been promised another $1,000 in the trailer fund. This puts us within $2,700 of our down payment goal and I would guess less than $150.00 remaining of our monthly support goal of being able to afford the payments on the truck and trailer (this is a hard number to judge, we have apparently lost some support and some of our promised support has not yet come in) . We are presently at 46% of our total needed support.
We are praying seriously about being able to take delivery of our trailer before Christmas and getting a truck before we leave Georgia on January 13th.
There is a lot that needs to happen if this is going to happen. Please pray with us seriously about the following things:
¨ The rest of the down payment money will come in by November 30 (it will take 3 weeks to build the camper) ¨ The remaining support will come in by December 31 ¨ God will work out the financing and put everything together ¨ We will have everything ready to go by January 13, 2004
We realize that this is a tall order but we are claiming God’s promises to us:
“...With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26
“...all things are possible to him that believeth.” Mark 9:23
“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19
We covet your prayers on our behalf on this matter. I am reminded of what Jesus said:
“Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 18:19
Our Itinerary
I will not mention any more specific prayer requests. Please pray for our continued health and safety as we travel, God’s power in the meetings and God’s will concerning our needs. We will look forward to letting you know what is going on again in January. Hopefully we will be including pictures of our new HOME! To see our latest schedule click here.

We trust you and yours will all have a wonderful Holiday Season. It is our family’s favorite time of the year. To set aside time on Thanksgiving to publicly thank the Lord for all he has done and to spend Christmas morning reading about the birth of Christ and praying before digging into a large dish of cheese grits. Only Heaven could be better!! We can only pray that your family will enjoy God’s goodness to the fullest extent.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!
